Workshop: Using Pastel to Create a Floral Still Life
Learn the basics of pastel technique from artist Gianne de Genevraye and take inspiration from the garden. This outdoor workshop, in a non-competitive atmosphere, will include practical exercises to understand the technique of pastel painting, understanding light direction and shadow and negative space. We will complete a finished drawing of a simple floral composition from the garden.

You may be surprised and delighted to learn that Luffa (Loofah) sponges do not come from the sea but are a vegetable in the gourd and cucumber family and can easily be grown in your own home garden. Learn how to start your own seeds and how to care for your plants.
