Exciting Updates in Progress

Sherman Library & Gardens remains open and welcoming guests while we continue exciting improvements throughout the grounds. Our entrance is currently located on Dahlia Avenue, just look for the signage to guide your way.

As we refresh and enhance the gardens, some areas may be temporarily closed off, and you may occasionally hear construction activity. We appreciate your patience as we work to make your future visits even more beautiful. To help plan your visit, please view our interactive map here.

Dining services are not currently available on-site. We look forward to welcoming guests in the near future with a new restaurateur in our newly reimagined restaurant space.

Accessibility

Sherman Gardens is mobility-impaired accessible. Mobility-impaired parking, including handicapped parking is located in the parking lot at the corner of Dahlia Ave. & Pacific Coast Highway.

The Dahlia Ave. entrance is the designated handicap entrance. Inquire at the entry gates for complete accessibility information.

Visitors may purchase tickets at the door or, for contactless entry, pre-purchase tickets online.

Members are always admitted free – consider joining today!

Children (3 & Under): Free

Blue Star Families: Free admission from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day and on Veterans Day. Military ID holder + five family members. Program Details

Museums for All: Free for those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits). Up to four people per EBT card presented. Program Details

Only service dogs are permitted in the gardens.

Tours

Sherman Gardens has a knowledgeable group of specially trained docents available to give tours of our beautiful gardens to both adults and children.
