Exciting Updates in Progress

Sherman Library & Gardens remains open and welcoming guests while we continue exciting improvements throughout the grounds. Our entrance is currently located on Dahlia Avenue, just look for the signage to guide your way.
 
As we refresh and enhance the gardens, some areas are temporarily closed off, and you may occasionally hear construction activity. We appreciate your patience as we work to make your future visits even more beautiful.

Garden Closure Notice: October 2 - October 4

The Gardens will be closed to the public Friday, October 2 – Sunday, October 4 for the 2nd Annual Botanical Ball.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but Sherman Library & Gardens will be closed to the public on Sunday, September 13 and Sunday, October 18.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to the Gardens the following day. Thank you for your continued support!

Seasonal Admission Pricing and Limited Time Membership Offer

Beginning Friday, May 15, Sherman Library & Gardens will transition to Seasonal Admission Pricing for Adults (18+) and Children (4–17) in conjunction with the debut of our much-anticipated summer art exhibition, Dog Days of Sherman. Please see Plan Your Visit for more information or the Ticket portal to buy tickets.

If you are a frequent visitor to Sherman Library & Gardens, we urge you to become a member today to get a better experience; membership typically pays for itself in about 3 visits! Food at The Gardens

Regular dining services are not currently available on-site. Sherman Library & Gardens announced its new restaurant partner in the totally reimagined farm-to-table restaurant that will open in Fall of 2027 for complete dining services. However, several Hazeltine’s Afternoon Tea experiences are scheduled in 2026 for you to experience Hazeltine’s hospitality. Please see the Hazeltine’s HAT experience for more information to make reservations.

Visitors may purchase tickets at the door or, for contactless entry, pre-purchase tickets online.

Library

The library gallery is open daily from 10:30am-4:00pm. The library gallery may be closed at various times for classes or scheduled events. Please check in at the front desk or call (949) 673-2261 ext. 304 ahead to confirm availability on the day of your visit.

Blue Star Families: Free admission for Military ID holder + five family members.

Program Details

Museums for All: Free for those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) with an EBT card + four family members.
 
Only ADA-Certified Service Animals are permitted in the gardens.
 
Note: Special ticketed events during Dog Days of Sherman will allow dogs in The Gardens under certain circumstances. Please see Dog Days of Sherman for rules governing dogs in The Gardens during these special events.
