Mosaic Class: Garden Stepstone

March 28, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Stepping stones are a great addition to the garden, especially if you have a damp spot by the hose or need a shortcut through the garden. Join mosaic artist David Jarvinen to create your artful stepstone using porcelain 2×2 tiles in many different colors.  David is bringing a variety of 12” x 12” stepping stones with irregular edges, no square stepping stones!  For your design, think of flowers, abstract patterns,  or just mix colors to explore nipping and fitting techniques.  A grout demonstration and grout kit are provided to apply after the glue dries (24 hrs min).

Optional:  Bring soft, tight-fitting gloves, like garden gloves, to aid in nipping the porcelain tiles.  This class does not break for lunch, so feel free to bring snacks and a beverage.   Seating is limited.   Class is held outdoors, so dress appropriately.

Fee: Members $100, Non-members $110
