Hands-on Workshop: Growing, Using and Enjoying Luffa
You may be surprised and delighted to learn that Luffa (Loofah) sponges do not come from the sea but are a vegetable in the gourd and cucumber family and can easily be grown in your own home garden. Learn how to start your own seeds and how to care for your plants. You will plant seeds to take home, create a bar of luffa soap, and a jar of soothing luffa sugar scrub and decorate a gift tag or market tote using luffa gourd slices.
