“Sherman Library and Gardens has proved to be a wonderful addition to my life, since joining the Docents in 2017. My background and love for travel, training, art and history have all been enhanced by this very special place.

The Gardens provide such a variety of plants and flowers from all over the world, and sharing this exceptional collection with guests is so rewarding.  The Gardens are beautiful and change with every season, so the portraits and landscapes are always new and different.

The history and artwork held by the Library is so interesting and holds some fascinating collections. Working on art provenance and historical papers projects with the library staff has been enlightening and such a pleasure to pursue. Just a wonderful place to be.”
