Talk and Q&A: ‘The Magic of Camellias’ presented by Tom Nuccio from Nuccio’s Nurseries

January 24 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Come and join us for this very special opportunity to hear Tom Nuccio talk about camellias. Camellia experts know that Nuccio’s Nurseries is considered the preeminent nursery for camellias in North America and Tom is one of the two brothers who run this family business – just down the road in the Altadena foothills. Tom has been working with camellias for most of his professional life so the Sherman horticulture team often consult him for advice. Many of the camellias planted in the garden, as well as the unusual and interesting camellia selection in the garden shop, have come from Nuccio’s.

Tom Nuccio is a renowned national expert and we are delighted that he will be visiting Sherman to share his knowledge and experience with our guests during Camellia Week.

Tickets are free with garden admission but registration is required.
