Photography Class: Flower Phoneography

October 15, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Learn the simple tricks that will give you great results and improve your smartphone photography. Join Jeanine Hill for this fun class and maximize the potential of your phone. After an initial demonstration, you will head out into the garden to try out your new skills on the flowers, bugs and plants. Once you have your shots Jeanine will show you basic editing techniques using Photoshop Express app. So grab your smart device of choice, and explore ‘phoneography’, the new way of taking photos. Bring your cell phone, creativity, and questions for us to go over as a class. The first part of the class takes place before the garden is open to wander quietly.

Jeanine has been working as a commercial photographer for over 35 years in Orange County with clients including Disneyland and seven local Universities. When the pandemic struck she started coming to the Sherman every week to photograph the garden and discovered a new passion for flower photography.
