Mosaic Workshop: Summer Bouquet

July 16 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Mosaic Workshop - Summer Bouquet | Sherman Library & Gardens

Mosaic Artist, David Jarvinen, will walk you through the process to turn your bouquet of flowers into a wonderful mosaic art piece. Suitable to hang indoors or outdoors, you work with porcelain tiles to create a wonderful flower arrangement.   You will learn to manipulate shapes using a compound tile nipper, which is not difficult, but does require some hand strength (think cracking a nut).  Alternatively, you can break the pieces and fit them back together in a beautiful arrangement of colors, and still be successful. A grout kit will be provided to complete the work at home after the adhesive dries.
There are no formal breaks in the class but please bring please bring lunch or snacks & beverages to consume as needed.

Members $100 Non-members $110
