Catherine S. Tuttle (1893-1971)

Born in California, Catherine Tuttle moved to Los Angeles with her family in 1894. After graduating from Pomona College, she did post-graduate work at UC Berkeley, where she was mentored by Eugen Neuhaus. She taught art for one year in the Los Angeles public schools and then married Homer Tuttle and established a home in Monrovia.
