Spring Garden Art Faire ~ May 20 & 21

  SPRING GARDEN ART FAIRE

Saturday & Sunday, May 20 & 21
10:30 am until 4 pm each day

The Arts are alive and well at Sherman Library & Gardens!

On May 20 & 21 the Volunteer Association will present a two-day Spring Celebration featuring local artists painting and creating among the plants and flowers. After meeting the artists and admiring their artwork, participate in an interactive community art project in the Central Garden. Sherman Horticulturist Tim Chadd and our Volunteers will show you how to adhere natural materials like beans, seeds, and leaves to a 60″ round stencil of the Sherman logo. Think of it as a one-dimensional Rose Parade float!

Our craftiest volunteers, The Sowers, will present unique, one-of-a-kind, hand-made Spring items for sale, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting their beloved Sherman Gardens.

Grab a Balboa Bar or frozen banana with the kids and head over to the crafting table and color your very own wooden birdhouse to take home. Special instructor-led classes will also be taking place both days. Register under “Classes” on our website.

Mark your calendar and plan to join us for this creative two-day Spring Celebration! The Spring Garden Art Faire is free with garden admission.

Garden admission is only $5 and is always free for Members.
