Sun Garden
With its playful pond and ever-changing palette of seasonal shrubs and flowers, the Sun Garden is a demonstration garden revealing four seasons of color to delight visitors. It’s frequently the spot for innovative art installations including our garden mascot, Shermie, created by Lou Renken. We are grateful to the Jacoby Kewel Family for their generous donation to reimagine the Sun Garden in the Grow The Gardens plan. It will be a beautiful reflection of the bounty nature offers us!
“Full of light, color, and energy, and with Shermie welcoming everyone who comes in, the Sun Garden captures the heart of Sherman Library & Gardens. This special place is always a magnet for visitors, and we are thrilled to be able to restore and revive this glorious part of the garden! Grow The Gardens will help secure Sherman Library & Gardens’ place as a top destination in Orange County."
