Garden-to-Table Restaurant

Sherman Library & Gardens has been the home of a 5-day-a-week, full-service lunch restaurant for many years. The Grow The Gardens plan will move the Garden-to-Table Restaurant to Pacific Coast Highway, with an entrance directly from the street. This beautifully designed restaurant will have a PCH patio for outdoor dining, as well as a patio inside The Gardens that will look onto the refurbished Tea Garden.

The relocation of the Garden-to-Table Restaurant to Pacific Coast Highway creates additional opportunities to engage with the community, and provides increased financial stability, ensuring the long-term success of Sherman Library & Gardens. This relocation will allow for a natural integration of The Gardens with the surrounding Village, allowing people to be drawn into the experience from another access point. The remodeled restaurant and kitchen will be able to accommodate more guests with less disturbance to nearby Corona del Mar residents.

The genius of this move is that by relocating the Garden-to-Table Restaurant to PCH, this frees up the existing restaurant building to become a valuable seven-day-a-week Community Building space that can host field trips, classes, meetings, and exhibitions.
