Sherman Library & Gardens offers an inspired line-up of classes and events every month for you to enjoy! With offerings ranging from wellness workshops and children’s activities, to floral design classes, lectures in the library, and plant shows, there is something for everyone to experience.

Workshop: Spring Card and Succulent Basket

Join Alexandra Ito for a morning of crafting with a Spring theme.
For your first project, you will be using cardmaking techniques along with pressed flowers to create a unique and lovely card that can be used to celebrate Easter or Spring. You will then work to create a rustic twig basket that you will make with grapevine and moss and plant with succulents and seasonal accents.
You will leave the class with a handmade card that is a miniature work of art and a lovely spring planter, along with directions for caring for your succulents.
This fun, relaxed class takes place in the outdoor patio classroom by the Garden Shop. No experience necessary. All materials are provided.
