Birds can make backyards lively, interesting and are also nature’s pest control. Join SL&G along with mosaic artist & instructor, David Jarvinen, to learn about tone & value, using mosaic glass tiles while applying to an up-close bird portrait. Instructor provides a variety of patterns to choose from, frames, glass tiles and adhesives to complete your project. No grouting in this one!! Participant will learn to create a ‘story board representing tone and value in each section of the image chosen. Then learn how to make “shards” with wheeled nippers and how to fit effectively to create texture and movement.
