As part of our Member Appreciation Week, we are excited to invite our members and their guests to Sherman Library & Gardens first ever Plant Swap & Sip.
A plant swap is a fun and social event where plant enthusiasts gather to exchange plants, cuttings, seeds, or plant-related items.
Here’s what you can expect:
- People bring their plants, cuttings, or seeds to share. We will have a designated area where participants can display their items.
- Attendees browse the selection, and swap items with others. Participants trade plants with one another based on mutual interest.
Beyond trading, plant swaps are great for meeting like-minded individuals, sharing gardening tips, and discussing plant care.
Our horticulture team will be on-hand to offer advice, demonstrate propagation techniques, and provide information on plant care. It’s an opportunity to learn and expand your plant knowledge. Depending on the participants, you might find a diverse range of plants, from common houseplants to rare or unusual specimens.
A plant swap is a lively and engaging way to diversify your plant collection, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy the camaraderie of a shared hobby.
Free with garden admission. Registration Required. Members and their guests only. h
