Sherman Library & Gardens offers an inspired line-up of classes and events every month for you to enjoy! With offerings ranging from wellness workshops and children’s activities, to floral design classes, lectures in the library, and plant shows, there is something for everyone to experience.

Sherman Library & Gardens invites car enthusiasts and garden lovers alike to its inaugural Petals & Pistons Car Show in August!
This unique event showcases a curated collection of vintage, classic, and luxury automobiles in the back parking lot behind our botanical gardens. Come enjoy the craftmanship-both mechanical and horticultural-offering a feast for the senses. It’s a celebration of design, detail, and community in a setting unlike any other. Food and beverages will be available and entrance to the gardens will open early at 9:30am. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind fusion of chrome and blooms!
Information for Car Registrants
There are 60 spaces available for car show registrants. The cost is $20 per car which includes space in the parking lot and complimentary garden admission. Proceeds from the event will go to our Grow the Gardens campaign.
