Sherman Library & Gardens offers an inspired line-up of classes and events every month for you to enjoy! With offerings ranging from wellness workshops and children’s activities, to floral design classes, lectures in the library, and plant shows, there is something for everyone to experience.
Using dishes for mosaics is an old art form that still translates wonderfully today. Mosaic artist David Jarvinen will bring a large variety of already reduced (broken ) china and ceramic plates for easy use, while creating a one-of-a-kind 13″ birdbath saucer. If you’d like, feel free to bring a dish or two of your own to add sentimental memories to your birdbath saucer. A grouting demonstration and grout kit will be provided to each student.
