Garden Flow: Dancing with Nature – Birds of a Feather

Join us to celebrate Newport Beach Art Week!
Guided by Backhausdance professional dancers, participants will explore contemporary dance movements inspired by the hummingbirds and many other birds that fill Sherman Library & Gardens with vibrancy and life. You can become a bird in flight by soaring, gliding, hovering, and flocking through our fun and collaborative movement-making workshop.
Connecting to the energy, beauty and behavior of the birds and gardens all around us, we will create and share our own unique Dance of the Birds on the outdoor stage.
Everyone is welcome! All ages and abilities. No dance experience is necessary, and participants may dance from a chair or standing. Wear comfortable clothes and bring water.

Included with garden admission $12 for adults, $5 for children (4-17) and free for children under 4 years old. Free to Sherman members.
