Sherman Library & Gardens offers an inspired line-up of classes and events every month for you to enjoy! With offerings ranging from wellness workshops and children’s activities, to floral design classes, lectures in the library, and plant shows, there is something for everyone to experience.

Family Class: Paint a Dragonfly

Join local artist Erna Van Dyk as she teaches you how to see and paint color and simple shapes. You will work together to observe the colors and qualities of a dragonfly. You will use step-by-step watercolor techniques to create your own illustration. This fun, relaxed class takes place in our outdoor classroom.
Grandparents and favorite adults welcome too! No experience necessary.
All materials provided.
(Adults and children should each book one place)
