Clivia Show and Sale

March 13 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

The Clivia Plant Show and Sale will offer Sherman guests the chance to see spectacular and unusual examples of this hardy and colorful plant. Members of the The Southern California Chapter of the North American Clivia Society will be exhibiting their prized blooms, competing for top awards and sharing their treasures with the public.

The show will feature many forms and varieties of clivia that exceed the standard orange and yellow flowering ones often seen in Southern California landscapes and gardens, including delicate pastel shades and plants with eye-catching leaf variations and textures.

Visitors will have the opportunity to view the exhibit of winning entries and buy plants and other clivia-related materials. The sale will feature many clivia plants with flower colors and leaf forms that aren’t typically available in garden stores and nurseries.

Clivias are easy to care for and are perfectly suited to the Southern California climate. For those who want to learn more about this native South African species, NACS members will be on hand to give advice, share their expertise and give a daily public demonstration and lecture.

Free with Garden admission.
