Sherman Library & Gardens offers an inspired line-up of classes and events every month for you to enjoy! With offerings ranging from wellness workshops and children’s activities, to floral design classes, lectures in the library, and plant shows, there is something for everyone to experience.
Students transform broken dishes into a vibrant mosaic portrait of their favorite pet. Using color, texture, and bold design, they shape and arrange pieces to bring their image to life, then grout and finish a striking, durable artwork—turning everyday materials into something personal, expressive, and unforgettable.
Enjoy a 75-minute gentle yoga class where you will learn breath techniques designed to balance the nervous system, along with a guided meditation. Through slow, mindful movement, you will connect breath and body, experience deep stretches, and gradually build balance and strength. This class is designed for all levels seeking a gentle, thoughtfully curated yoga practice.
Caltech's Kerckhoff Marine Laboratory is one of America's longest running marine labs featuring a storied background in worldclass research right here in Corona del Mar. This tour will feature the history of this marine station and the current projects happening locally in Southern California and throughout the world. Participants will get an opportunity to experience hands-on interactions with marine life and see the research happening in real time.
