“All the Pleasures” Baroque Music Festival, Corona del Mar 2024 – Nightingales in the Gardens. Virtuosic baroque music for three violins plus solo Bach and birdsong-inspired pieces.
Elizabeth Blumenstock, Jolianne Einem and Rob Diggins (violins), with Eva Lymenstull (cello and viola da gamba) and Ian Pritchard (harpsichord and organ), in virtuosic music for three violins by Giovanni Battista Buonamente, Johann Pachelbel (yes, the canon – and more!), Henry Purcell, Johann Heinrich Schmelzer, and others. Plus, birdsong-inspired pieces.
