“Our family’s experience with Sherman Library & Gardens took root with our children attending complimentary story time. This hidden gem provided a safe and open environment where our kids flourished. Frankly, it was a relief for me that there was a place in our community that is tranquil, beautiful, and dedicated to children’s education – especially when it comes to introducing Mother Nature and horticulture to young minds. 

After attending Nights of 1000 Lights as a family holiday tradition, my husband and I knew we wanted to be more involved with Sherman gardens. Our hope is that more kids, parents, and grandparents can create cherished memories here – much like ours has.

Sherman Library & Gardens is truly a jewel in Corona del Mar. While it could have been turned into commercial real estate, it instead remains a place of inspiration, education, and community connection—growing in ways that invite everyone to feel included and valued.”
