Join local artist Erna Van Dyk as she teaches you how to see and paint color and simple shapes. You will work together to observe the colors and qualities of a mushroom… and a few creepy crawly visitors!  You will use step-by-step watercolor techniques to create your own illustration. Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sherman orchid collection, including access to greenhouse facilities that are generally closed to the wider public.  Sherman Gardens is home to a vast array of plant collections including Anthuriums, Begonias, Camellias, ferns, Fuchsias, palms, and succulents.
