Phone Photography Class: Under the Scope

November 6 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Phone Photography Class: Under the Scope | Sherman Library & Gardens

This ‘phone-ography’ class will focus on using your cell phone to see the garden world under a microscope. You will learn how to use a small new item, a digital microscope attachment, that clips onto your phone and opens up a whole new small world of seeing.

The class will start with a demonstration, followed by a wander through the garden after it has closed, to take photos. Come with an open mind to seeing a tiny new world.

Jeanine Hill has been working as a commercial photographer for over 35 years in Orange County with clients including Disneyland and seven local Universities. When the pandemic struck she started coming to the Sherman every week to photograph the garden and discovered a new passion for flower photography.

Bring to class: cell phones or iPads. Digital microscopes will be available for you to borrow for the class.

Fee: Members $55, Non-members $65
