Holiday Gift Faire & Volunteer Cookbook Launch

November 4 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

Start your holiday shopping early!  Sherman Library & Gardens’ Volunteer Association presents the Holiday Gift Faire & ‘First Monday Coffee’ Cookbook Launch.  All visitors will enjoy free admission to the Gardens on November 4!  Members of Sherman Library & Gardens receive a 15% discount on all Garden Shop purchases of seasonal plants, one-of-a-kind handmade items, unique holiday gifts, and the new Volunteer cookbook.

“The Holiday Gift Faire rings in the holiday season and raises money for our beloved Library and Gardens.  In addition to the seasonal plants and holiday merchandise that is for sale, we’re debuting the Volunteer Association’s ‘First Monday Coffee’ cookbook,” said Karin Zenk, Chairman of the Cookbook Committee.  The First Monday Coffee cookbook is a collection of recipes compiled by the Volunteer Association of Sherman Library & Gardens.  Volunteers meet on the first Monday of each month at 9 am, before the Gardens open to the public, and sign-up to bring main dishes, pastries, fruit, or cookies.   123 delicious recipes are shared in the pages of the cookbook.

The cookbook retails for $24 and is available for pre-sale.  Proceeds from cookbook sales support children’s education programs in the Gardens.
