A Collaborative Demonstration of Ikebana and Kusamono

March 5 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

A Collaborative Demonstration of Ikebana and Kusamono

This collaborative presentation of Ikebana & Kusamono explores the beauty of mindful artistry and the deep connection between nature and creativity.

Experience the meditative process of creating balance and harmony through Ikebana’s structured yet expressive floral compositions. Then, discover the hands-on joy of crafting Kusamono, where plants are transformed into living works of art. Together, these two practices will mirror each other in their unity of tradition, mindfulness, and the natural world, inspiring observers to find their own creative flow.

Perfect for anyone with a love of nature, creativity, or Japanese art, this demonstration offers an enriching and visually pleasing experience.

Presented by Aiyana Kyoko, founder of Tiger Blossom, and Debra Mauzy-Melitz, president of the Coastal Bonsai Club.

Presentations will be at 11am and 1pm
