Photography Class: Bouquet Mix-Up

Workshop: The Art of Indigo & Shibori

Learn about the mysteries of the plant Indigofera tintoria, otherwise known as Indigo. Together you will make an organic indigo dye vat, then explore the ancient technique of Shibori, a Japanese manual tie-dyeing technique. In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of Shibori pattern making and how to create a variety of shapes focusing on folded, tied and clamped resist dyeing.
