Explore how plants help create natural environments and how zookeepers and educators shape spaces that support animal care\, conservation\, and meaningful guest experiences. The panel includes: Ethan Fisher is a lifelong Orange County resident and Director of the Santa Ana Zoo\, where he has helped shape the institution’s vision for more than two decades. Under his leadership\, the Zoo achieved accreditation by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and expanded its focus on animal welfare\, conservation\, and immersive guest experiences\, including Goat Trails\, River’s Edge\, and Flight\, a live butterfly experience. Jenny Walker is the Animal Care Manager and Acting Zoo Director at the Santa Ana Zoo\, where she has dedicated 25 years of service. With nearly three decades of experience in animal care\, she brings a deep understanding of how plants and animals can successfully coexist within thoughtfully designed habitats. Lauren Bergh has a passion for connecting people with nature in all of its forms and has been in environmental education for over 25 years.
